Refund Policy
This policy explains refund handling for Tek Web projects, subscriptions, websites, apps, hosting, domains, third-party services, and support work.
Refund Terms by Service
Refund eligibility depends on the service type, accepted scope, work completed, third-party costs, and the timing of the request.
Software Projects
Custom software work is planned around discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities. Deposits and completed milestones are generally non-refundable once work has started. If a project is cancelled before a milestone begins, Tek Web may review any unused balance after deducting completed work, committed resources, and third-party costs.
Website Development
Website deposits cover consultation, planning, design direction, content setup, development time, and project administration. Refunds are not available for completed design, development, revisions, content entry, deployment, or approved milestones. Where work has not started, a partial refund may be considered after administrative costs are deducted.
Hosting and Domain Services
Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, SSL certificates, hosting renewals, email hosting, and server-related purchases are generally non-refundable once ordered, activated, renewed, or paid to third-party providers.
Subscription-Based Software
Subscription fees for school systems, business systems, maintenance plans, or hosted software are charged for access and support during the agreed billing period. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins, but clients may cancel future renewals according to the agreement.
Mobile App Development
Mobile app deposits and milestones are tied to planning, UI work, development, API integration, testing, deployment preparation, and support. Refunds are not available for completed milestones or third-party app store, developer account, API, or testing service costs.
Third-Party Costs
Payments made to third-party providers are non-refundable through Tek Web. This includes domains, hosting, themes, plugins, licences, stock assets, SMS credits, payment gateway fees, cloud services, APIs, app store fees, and external software subscriptions.
Non-Refundable Items
Non-refundable items include consultation fees, discovery sessions, project planning, completed design work, completed development work, approved milestones, urgent work, administrative fees, training already delivered, support already provided, third-party costs, and any service already consumed or delivered.
Refund Request Process
Refund requests must be sent in writing with the client's name, project or invoice reference, payment details, reason for the request, and any supporting information. Tek Web will review the request against the accepted scope, work completed, payments made, third-party costs, and any signed or written agreement.
